Faded and heavily oxidized paint can often be restored, but it depends on several factors including the type of system (clear coat/non-clear coat) and colour. Paint restoration puts the shine back in the finish to give you’re a/c that ‘‘new look’’ appearance. A clear coat finish restoration is possible up to the paint where clear coat failure begins. On a traditional paint finish, without clear coat, restoration generally isn´t realistic once the colour coat weathers away and the primer is exposed. When either both two situations occur the affected panels or entire a/c will need to be repaited.
