Plexiglas Polishing

The Polishing and Repairing of Plexiglas transparencies are subject to a very strict process. In order to maintain the integrity of the transparency you have to take various factors into account:

• Distortion and Optical Recovery.
• Thickness for the transparency before / after repair.
• Bird impact resistance and other structural issues.

Any repair will have an impact on the optical quality of the transparency treated. Our aim is to reduce this impact to a minimum. To do so we use proprietary products and polishes and follow a rigorous process that we have developed over the past 8 years.

The maximal depth of the scratches we are able to repair, can only be given after checking the overall thickness of the Plexiglas  and verifying what is the minimum thickness that the manufacture specification authorize without jeopardizing the integrity of the transparency.
